I'm thinking of taking my two children to a campsite at the end of August. I'll be on my own - so don't want a huge drive and I'm hoping to lamp or stay in a holiday home/caravan etc. Can anyone recommend any holiday parks/glamping sites that fit that criteria?

I really appreciate any help as it's so tricky just looking online!

Xx

You could take a ferry to Rotterdam/Hook of Holland, and then it’s just 40 minutes to Duinrell.

Alternatively, Les Mouettes is really close to the port of Roscoff

Look on google maps in the area you want to go then really zoom in and click on the search camping in area. Then cross reference the sites you spot with a review or https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/ it’s a clunky site but it’s been around for years loads on there even for Europe or look up the eurocamp or yelloh ones but try to book direct it will be cheaper with better choice. It’s normally a lot cheaper at eve of Aug as French go back to school.

The ferry port you choose will determine really where you can get too. Do you want inland or beach? The Loire valley is lovely but further to drive.
