What do you take on a solo trip?

I solo two or three times a year, usually 3-9 days.
I live on Vancouver Island BC so there are lots of places to get away from it all.
Depending on how far I have to carry my gear usually dictates what I bring

I'm wondering if there are lighter, better versions of camping supplies I am missing, that you may have used and loved.

I ask because I'm heading out again next weekend.

I was going to say alcohol, cheese and biscuits but I see you are looking for lightweight, not essentials.

Good sleep system is the essential. even if your tent collapses in the night, if your sleep system is good you can wrap the remains of the tent around you. And a bothy bag. these will make sure you survive until morning. Anything else is a luxury.

Do you mean backpacking camping? Carrying all your gear? Or manageable kit to pack for yourself when driving to a campsite?

I will be driving most of the way, hiking in the last 2km, so I have to be able to carry it all

So far I have homemade trail mix, a dehydrated rice packet meal, instant oatmeal, jerky, dried soup mix, dehydrated veg mix of carrot, onion and potatoes, and drink crystals.
I will bring a few apples and some chocolate as well.
I have a tent that is quite lightweight, and I have a bottle stove that is easy to pack. I will need my heavier sleeping bag as it still get frosty at night, and I hate trying to sleep when I'm cold.
