Have just filled in booking form to camp here - seems to be a cross between a golf course, country park and retail park with handy links to central London. Camping's camping, eh?

ooo..I've been there twice now
It's been a great base for me and my son to stay at for visiting London (we come down from Scotland). We've managed to get ourselves and all our kit from both Victoria Station and Kings Cross to the campsite (and the first time I didn't have a clue where I was going!)

It's got lovely clean toilet and shower block - separate male and female.
A little shop that is also the office - It stocks the basics. The people that run it have been lovely and are full of information about the travel tickets etc.
It's behind/to the side of a leisure centre/complex, that has a big cinema, and a couple of places to eat at (I haven't used any of that, so can't comment on it). The bus to get to the site stops at the leisure centre (I think it's the W8), then you walk around the side of the leisure bit for a couple of mins, and then you're there!

You're right at the golf course, the golf shop is next to the camping area, and you'll see the golfers walking past and sniffing the smell of your breakfast

If you have any questions - just ask!
