Anybody got the Vango Oregan 800??????

In a word, huge!! The central bit is big enough to hold a dance in (and proved a godsend when we had a rather wet holiday last year, as could fit the table and chairs in there and the cooker, and have enough room to sit), and the bedrooms are very spacious (they have dividers you can put up across the bedrooms as well, so can turn two rooms into four).

Technically (advice from dh here) it's well-built for a two-season tent and has fibreglass poles which are sturdy enough for spring/summer conditions. Dh reckons it will last a few years. Only downside is it's reasonably lightweight fabric, plus ours has no awning, but I think they've now made one available which can be used on this year's model.

Thanks for that. The design seems to be exactly what we're looking for it's the awning thing though. The one we looked at was quite cheap so I suspect last years and the man showed us these awnings you could through over it.

Can't see the Oregon on the Vango site so wondering if they still make it.

MilaMae, I think the new version may be called the Yukon - it comes in an 8 person version.
