Bit of a niche question but I have the arpenaz 4.1 from decathlon and love it. I recently noticed they do a black out version (fresh and black) but I only camp one week and a couple of weekends a year so can’t really justify changing.
But then I noticed you can buy replacement bedroom inners for both the original and blackout versions. Looking at the pictures, the measurements of the bedroom are identical but the living area is 5cm shorter. I asked the live chat whether the blackout bedroom would fit the original tent and they say no. However the 3 reviews (all from abroad) say they are planning on using in the original
and what a great idea to be able
to upgrade like this. However, maybe it’s a translation issue but none are in the past tense saying that it did fit.
So does anyone know whether if I buy a new blackout bedroom, whether it will
fit my trusty old tent.
