Dog free UK campsites

We are looking for dog free campsites, South or South West UK or Wales. Ideally also with electric hook up. Had a nightmare last year with yappy dogs all around us so want to make sure that does not happen. I know we can't pick camping neighbours, but if we can not have dogs that would be great! Any recommendations? Thanks.

I don’t think Cherry Tree has electric hookups. Try Pentewan Sands in Cornwall

Ninham camp site on Isle of Wight has separate area for those with dogs which worked very well. Very spacious site. EHU is available.

Yes, been to quite a few (not where OP is looking) as they are on farms, and I guess they don't want to risk dogs getting near the livestock.

Very sensible rule and I can totally understand some people wanting to book one. My DS used to be scared of DDogs. I've just honestly never heard of one before Wink

In my experience it's hard to find one that takes dogs! Never looked for electric but where we usually camped in Peak District many were working farms so didn't allow dogs

If you do a site search on 'pitchup' one of the filters is no dogs allowed if that helps.

Thanks all. I've found one in Cornwall near Boscastle so might that. I did use that search on pitch up too. It's a shame other websites don't have that search option too.

Search For Sites allows you to search and filter for No Dogs Allowed.
It's also by far the best app for finding sites. Sites aren't paying to be listed. They're all submitted and reviewed by users.

Thanks @SiouxsieSiouxStiletto . Hopefully we will have some better weather in August! The site is ontop of a hill with sea views so fabulous if the weather is kind! No dogs as they have camp cats and chickens :)

Camp chickens and cats sound amazing. We stayed at a campsite once where they had piglets that kept escaping and running around. DD thought it was the best thing ever Wink
