Best campsites in Europe

Looking for some ideas on where we can drive to for a camping holiday (tent pitch).

Needs to be suitable for tween DC. Electric pitches. Pool preferable. Lots of places nearby to visit.

We would have quite a long drive to the ferry/tunnel here so ideally the drive on the other side would be less than 4 hours.

Any suggestions?

Le bien assise at Guînes near Calais. The Azincourt museum is just down the road. Pool, tent, caravan and chalets.
