Hi all
Looking for a 40th birthday break in the May half term. We've always wanted to go to Holland but the thing is we can't go until the Tuesday due to one of the kids school trips.
Is it worth it for 3/4 nights? Looking at euroshuttle which is reasonably priced.
If it is where would be best to stay for very active 14 & 11 year old boys.
Have just spent an eye watering amount on a villa for August so trying to keep costs down.
If anyone also has any suggestions for a mini break with tweens/teens greatly appreciated :)

Duinrell is ideal for active teens and tweens. There’s so much to do onsite and it feels safe enough to let them go off by themselves. It’s got loads of places to cycle to nearby, and would definitely be worth it for a 4 night stay.

We went at the end of last summer for 3 nights via the Eurotunnel and had a great time. 4 nights would definitely have been better but it definitely felt like a great little holiday. We stayed at Beekse Bergen for two nights with Eurocamp (we had to pay for 3 as that was the minimum) and then spent one night staying at the Efteling Hotel spending the days in Efteling theme park which is brilliant. I would definitely recommend what we did (my DC were 10 and 11 at the time).
