We have 10 night booked in early July in Wales so lovely long days to look forward to.

Anyone else got any camping trips booked already?

You should be fine at Easter @Faircastle. Have you got any kind of heater? Are you camping on a tent?

Thank you @PritiPatelsMaker
I'll be sleeping in the van. Will have EHU, a tiny electric fan heater and an electric heat pad to put at the foot end of the bed.

We are currently planning a trip to France in the Motorhome but I intend to use a lot of the Temporary Holiday sites this year. Last year we did Burton Bradstock, Pembrey Country Park and one on the Gower, but there are so many to choose from and such a bargain if you are happy with a rally type holiday.
£11/night for an August bank holiday weekend right on the Dorset coast means you save the cost of joining the C&CC in a few trips.

10 nights in the Isle of Wight and 6 nights in the Cotswolds :) in our touring caravan, though - have up tents a few years back now, getting too old and cold and tired 😩

We have a motorhome Have booked tunnel for mid April and we are planning to go slowly to the Med and home via Lake Annecy (my happy place) As Im no longer tied to school hols we are not booking sites in advance as we dont have a problem out of season. Will be away for abput 6 weeks..

Then we are off to Denmark via Netherlands for another 6 weeks in September. I love being retired

Nothing booked yet. Then again, we're happiest travelling in the summer with just a return Chunnel ticket and winging it for 3-4 weeks.

We'll probably last-minute a few weekends on one of our favourite local sites in Norfolk, and think about Easter closer to the time.

Just booked 2 weeks in the Netherlands (2 sites) in July - a few days at Easter in Sussex and August bank holiday on Mersea Island

we will do some ad-hoc weekends but we’ll book them nearer the time

got a touring caravan

FannythePinkFlamingo · 25/01/2023 20:49

VW Camper here. We've just booked three nights over Easter on the Lizard. We live in Cornwall so it's less than an hour away. Will probably book a bit further away for August bank holiday and have a few ad hoc nights here and there too. No DC to worry about any more, just the constraints of annual leave!

February, Moffat, 5 nights
March, Monifieth, 8 nights
April, Abbey Wood, 11 nights
May, Broadway, 7 nights
June, Betws-y-coed, 7 nights
July, York, 7 nights
August, Monifieth, 11 nights
Pluss a fair number of one or two night stops.
