Exactly that, for two retired adults with a dog. Ideally sea view from caravan, near a town (driving to is ok).

plus points would be English heritage, and Nat Trust or other places of interest to visit locally.

either a camping site, CL, etc. we have all onboard facilities but Electric hookup would be necessary.

Trawsdir has amazing sea views and sunsets but you're not going to find much to do with English Heritage around there. Plenty of Welsh Heritage though
