Am I out of my mind?

Was thinking of going to Bestival with some friends and their kids.

Ive got a 13 yr old dd and 8 yr old ds.

Does anyone know where I can get one of those baby rucksacks. I am broke as broke can be and was thinking this might be a nice sort of holiday/weekend.

Can you fit a travel cot in a tent?

Am I just in complete and utter denial and it will be a nightmare?

I went camping with xdh and kids before baby came along and LOVED IT, but think I might be being a bit optomistic to take baby as well.

I'm going this year with a 13 month old. I am pretty much a sensible camping virgin - have only done it off the cuff with boyfriends when we were about 18...

I am just wondering how you get everything in a car?

The tent will be big, then there are airbeds and sleeping bags, little cooker thingy, and somehow need to fit in a buggy as well

I might have to leave the children at home!

lol fpc now that would be a relaxing week!!
we did have to leave our buggy at home when we went camping last time, must say we wouldnt really have used it anyway as i put lo in a carrier/sling when she gets tired if we are out. it does depend on your lo and what you plan to be doing tho, as i know this works for me, but my friend wouldnt be able to do it with her son, who a little younger, if she was to go camping
