Site recommendation for Shropshire / Wye valley or somewhere !

We are planning a camper van trip next weekend and plan to stop in Shropshire - DH fancies Ironbridge but we need to find a site. We can be flexible with location and anywhere within 50 ish mile radius would be good.
Would like a site in easy walking distance of a pub and not that far from things to go and do / see.

Any ideas ?

Is just me and DH after many years of children / teens so we are quite excited .

Lucksall park near Hereford. It's about my favourite campsite ever. On the banks of the Wye, quiet, always spotless and beautifully maintained and there's even a little cafe on site if you run out of gas first thing in the morning for a cuppa and a bacon roll.

Sorry, meant to say there's a pub in the next village - walk through a wood to get there (ok in the light or dusk, bit trickier in the dark - take a good torch).

Foxholes Castle has a gorgeous view and it’s 10 minutes along the Shropshire Way Footpath to Bishops Castle which is a lovely town. If you can’t get in there, try Wayside Camping.

We stayed at Doward Park Campsite a few years ago.

You could walk down to the river, and then along a footpath to Symonds Yat. It was lovely.

Townsend in Pembridge - 10 min walk to pub, very clean and peaceful.

Severn Gorge Park is close to Ironbridge (I live in the Ironbridge area) www.severngorgepark.co.uk/tourers.html

Have you looked on Search for Sites and Park4Night? They are both apps (small fee) but with free websites. You can search your preferred criteria, such as a pub stopover, campsite, etc.

There are also a few pubs in the area which allow free overnight parking in exchange for a meal at the pub.
