When to book? France

Looking at a 10-14 day camping in France next year. (First time camping abroad) it doesn’t seem we can book yet though, does anyone know how far in advance we can book a pitch? TIA

where have you tried booking and the calendar doesn’t go far enough?

We've found it varies from site to site: we used to stay at a site in the south which would allow us to pre-book for the following year when we were there. Conversely, we found that Yelloh Village opens their bookings later in the year - Oct/Nov once the season is over - for the following year.

It was yellow I was looking at thanks, we could book through eurocamp for a lodge but not the tent pitches. Don’t want to miss the best pitch 😫

Have a look at sandaya. They can be booked now for next summer and highly recommend them for camping. Most have spacious pitches each with hedges around each one and excellent facilities. Not cheap but have always had a superb stay.

We didnt do it until later.got a great pitch.so try not to worry too much.have your camp map to hand for pitch numbers!also have you been via the camps actual website.sometimes cheaper, better pitched, larger in their own accomadation
