We don't drive you see. And we'd love to go on a camping holiday in the South of France. But I'm worried about how we'd get there and how we'd get about once we were there.

Any tips or experiences? Or good sites people have experienced?

(we don't have a huge budget)

I went camping once, age about 11, with my friend and her family. To be honest I'm not mad keen on the idea of a caravan but dp and dd are so I'm going with them. Plus it's cheap! Were the caravans ok?

Fine, clean, fairly modern. Living/dining area, kitchen bathroom with shower and two bedrooms. Built-in wardrobes in the double bedroom, twin beds in the other. It was quite cosy but a week was enough for me.
My DP was the same, he and the boys were the ones keen on a campsite. The second week we moved to a chic townhouse in Antibes (my choice ).

The chic townhouse would be my choice too! What is it with men and camping?!

I know. It's best to let them get it out of their systems.

If there's good weather and nice wine around I can just about face it!
