Hi going camping for an e tended period in Europe. I want to take some tinned food with me for ease of cooking on an electric camping stove

i had a look yesterday at tins, there was chicken curry, chilli, meatballs etc

anyone got any recommendations?

im literally after tinned food I can heat up for me in the evening when I’m not eating out and long life stuff

Op, it is dairy so soya/alternative milks are fine, as is fish. The eu website has the info europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/travel/carry/meat-dairy-animal/index_en.htm.

I only know this because I have a motorhome and the Facebook sites I follow have been buzzing lately with people having their fridges emptied by border control! Conversely many have said they have had their vans searched but they never opened the fridge. Not worth the stress in my book, travel empty then have a happy browse in the first supermarket you come to.

Soya milk is ideal for camping as it lasts for a week out of the fridge and I can have my soaked oats etc

so great to know I can still take it with me

thanks for the help

i shall be stocking up a few grain pouches, tinned vegetarian meals, non dairy milk and oats and then hit carrefour when I’m there
