Campsite near bath with pub

I'm trying to find a campsite I've stayed at twice in the past near Bath/Bristol but a long time ago.

Last time we stayed there would have been around 2011 so it may not even still be there. I only have sketchy memory of it. I'm hoping if I give the details I've got it might ring a bell with someone who can help me find it 🤞🏼

Driving towards it you felt like you were in a housing estate and there was no way there'd be a campsite anywhere near by. Then you went down a long drive way/small road and it came out in this lovely country feel campsite.

On the campsite there was a pub and restaurant on site.

There were 2 halves to the site, one was upper and that's where the pub was and the caravan bit, and then there was a lower bit for tents and things.

A river ran alongside the site.

You could get the bus from the bottom of the drive into bath, so Bath must have been close by. But I stayed there the first time when I was visiting my friend in Bristol so it must have been nearish Bristol too. I feel it was closer to Bath than Bristol.

I've been trawling the internet for days now and can't find anything 😫

I think we stayed at Newton Mill camp site, back in 2013. But following the weblink I had, its now a Darwin Escape holiday place?

Newton Mill that's it! The photos are exactly how I remember it and I knew there was something about Loo of the Year too!
Such a shame you can't still camp there 😫 Gutted.

Newbridge Rd has a caravan park and marina. You may be able to camp there it has a pub across the road and a bus into Bath/bristol.

Newbridge Marina one doesn’t take tents.
