ds's scout group are doing a frost camp next weekend

should i send him? he really wants to go.
but this is the child who thinks that a t shirt is adequate coverage in freezing cold wind and rain. will he come back with pneumonia?
also, he will be back on sunday, andhave a nose operation on monday. is it all a bit much?

the op will be after the camping. i wouldnt send him if it was before. just wondering really that if he did come back with a terrible cold....

and as for the Q, then yes, I would send him. If he is going to get cold, or catch cold, he will anyway regardless of scout camping (IMO).

maybe speak to the scout leader tho and explain, and ask that they ensure he is adequately covered at all times, and also tell your son that the stipulation to him going is that he has to stay covered!!!

(not that either will listen to you being big MEN and all, but you will feel better)

after all that, he has just come back and said it s been cancelled. you lot had convinced me to let him go.
