Lovely, quiet campsites in southern Europe

Looking for a lodge / mobile home on a campsite in southern Europe, ideally with a pool and close to the coast. Hopefully just big enough for DC (13, 10 and 3) to run around and make some friends. But also reasonably quiet and close to nature.

So many of the campsites I've looked at so far seem enormous and pride themselves on their evening entertainment, but nightly shows and noisy discos are definitely not my thing.

Is there anywhere out there that is in a lovely setting and relatively low key?

I've come across Huttopia and Slow Village campsites on Iles de Re, which look pretty nice and seem a bit closer to the vibe I'm looking for. But we've been to Ile de Re before, and whilst lovely, we'd like to branch out somewhere new. Not too bothered where - been vaguely looking at SW France, Portugal, northern Spain, Corsica, Sardinia…

Thanks in advance for any help!

Not in your target area and we haven't been for a couple of years for obvious reasons, but we have had some lovely family holidays at Camping Surchauffant in the Jura region of France.

It has access to a sandy beach on the side of Lac de Vouglans, there is a shop and restaurant on site but also a couple of other restaurants a very short walk away. You can walk directly from the campsite into a wooded area with paths up a hill. There are watersports places nearby and the local town has a good sized supermarket. There is also a playground on site and a swimming pool if you don't fancy the beach. Quiet time starts at 10pm IIRC. The reception staff speak very good English if languages aren't your thing (I can get by in French, but only just!)

Last time we went, my then 13 year old got chatting to some of the other (mainly French) children on the site and there were a couple of table tennis tables that they all met at and played some sort of everlasting game on.

It's not the most fancy of places, but I have really enjoyed the holidays we've had there.

Thanks @Fidodidit and @NancyDrawed . Those both look like great options.

How about this mn favourite? We had a great time there. Not by the beach but with a great lake.
