Decathlon inflatable base or outwell posadas?

I've narrowed my search for the camping bed set up to a SIM on top of either the decathlon blow up base or the outwell posadas camp beds.

Does anyone have experience of either (or even better both!) and can share please?

DH toss and turns all night and I'm a side sleeper due to a bad back, so we're definitely doing singles.

Thanks

Love my decathlon bases. I haven't tried the beds you've mentioned but as a side sleeper I find the decathlon base is a lot more forgiving on my hips and shoulder than my DDs camp beds

Thank you @Jedimindreader

@Jedimindreader can I ask what you have on top of your Decathlon base please? Last year I used an air bed on mine but it wasn't very warm or comfortable so I need to invest in something better

@catchingzzzeds I have a 7.5cm SIM on top. I think it's an Outwell

DS said his Decathlon Base was the most comfortable camping bed he's ever slept on. He put a SIM that we got ages ago from Aldi on it.

@Jedimindreader @TooWicked thank you both, I'll get one for my trips this year

Thanks all, I've bought the decathlon bases and some 8cm sims that fit it. Oooh exciting!

@Jericha if you are still around, how did it go? I'm also a side sleeper shortly to be in search of a comfy camping bed, having downsized from a trailer tent.

Hey @Sausagis, they work really well! Super comfy. We put ours together (both the base and the sim can be attached to make a double) and used a trespass double season 3 sleeping bag then a heavy winter duvet from home on top. Snug as bugs in the Easter holidays when it was around 7 degrees. Ditched the sleeping bag last weekend and still super comfy. Slept on my side fine, easy to put up the base and sims, and to pack both away. I would definitely recommend.

Sounds great, it's definitely on my shortlist 😁
