Has anyone ever stayed on Ile Noirmoutier?

I was looking at the Indigo site Le Vendette, does anyone have any experience?

Also any good places to visit in the area (5 year old and 3 year old)

Also how rough is the sea there, as there's no pool?

Haven't actually stayed on Noirmoutier but stay just down the coast every October half-term and there's loads to do. Aquaria, lovely beaches, safari park, Puy de Fou (pageant)- of course all of these are closed when we go but the rest of our family go in the Summer and always have plenty to do.
The highlight of our holiday is always going to noirmoutier because there is a causeway to the mainland and my dh and ds1 like to leave it right til the last minute before we drive across - we haven't quite been swept away yet!!
