Please help me deflate/pack my 10cm double sim

Oh my goodness, it's such a beast! Does anyone here have a Vango comfort 10cm double? It is wonderful to sleep on but takes up so much room in the car. We bought a roof box so that it could have more space in the car but I'm sure it just got bigger to fill the new gaps!

Any tips for smaller rolling? It seems to inflate again in storage. Perhaps the valves are faulty, they are the older style twisty ones. I was thinking of buying some kind of compression straps like those on a sleeping bag bag.

If it inflates again in storage, the valves are faulty. Having said that, our storage bag has two compression straps on the outside, so that might not be a bad thing.

I fold in half, and then half again, and press on it to get air out. Then do up the nozzle, and fold again in eighths. Undo nozzle and get a bit more out.

Then fold out the mat, and roll towards the nozzle, closing the nozzle anytime you need to get a better grip.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye on it and see if it really is reinflating or I'm imagining it. I have given up and get DH to pack it so it may be his crappy rolling technique that he needs more practice. I'll get some compression straps too
