My in-laws are taking our toddler camping - he's nearly 3. They've bought him a lovely cosy sleeping bag, which we tried him in today.
It wasn't until he got into it that it hit me that he sleeps on his front. All night, every night, and has done for the last 2.5 ish years. He doesn't even particularly like lying on his back for play etc, so it's unlikely he'll sleep that way. As he lay down, his face was obviously pressed into the synthetic downy "hood". Is this safe?
I can't work out whether I'm being a bit precious first born about it, or whether it's an actual risk! Can anyone who camps with toddlers shed some light for me?
