Is a camping carpet what I need or do I need a something else (suggestions welcome)

I have an outdoor sewing area on my deck

I am losing pins/small equipment down the slots between the boards

Is a camping carpet appropriate to put down each time I am working or is it a nightmare/unsuitable/a pain in the butt?

If it is, I am wondering about a roll of lino? But that might get slippy - any other thoughts?

Big foam playmats?

KatyMac · 07/09/2020 09:10

Yes that is an alternative

Outdoor rug left down permanently. I got mine from Ikea. Can be hosed down.

Fab ideas - thanks xx

We have a rather nice blue jute carpet we use when camping. Surely any carpet would do on a deck at home.

I'd look at outdoor rug or even a picnic blanket. Picnic blanket much cheaper than a tent carpet.

I just bought an outdoor rug! And now I am wondering where to store it on days like today......mini monsoon outside the backdoor!
