Camping at euro camp or AI beach for teens

So we ve camped a lot over the years but never at eurocamp type places . I was after views from people who had done both eurocamp and AI beach holidays with their teens and what the kids had enjoyed most. My kids are young teens and a younger child and all enjoy lots of activities. Sort of fed up of my holiday being about finding things for them to do all the time. I get they’re very different holidays!

We've done lots of Eurocamp style but never AI beach. I would go for somewhere with a brilliant water complex with slides, lazy river, etc. Somewhere like Domaine des Ormes in Brittany www.lesormes.com/en might be suitable. Somewhere further south would be safer weather wise. Ardeche and Dordogne might also have canoeing close by. Others will be on the beach. There are hundreds to choose from.

Have a look at Alpine Elements? They do Mountain and Beach holidays with loads of activities included. Always seem very popular with families/teens. www.alpineelements.co.uk/activity-holidays

My DC are little but I remember doing both as a teen!

Eurocamp style holidays were great, my sibling and I used to go down to the bar area, make friends etc. We would either stay in static caravans or touring caravan and tent so had our own space.

AI I didn't enjoy - only did it the once, had to share a room with my parents, nothing to do other than the pool.

Thanks for all your feedback. I think I’ll look at the campsites with teen facilities and lots to do and I’ll also take a look at the alpine elements too - thank you
