I’m currently looking at Icey-Tek (pricey tech!), Igloo and Coleman passive coolboxes. I don’t want an electric one.

Does anyone have any experience of any of these 3? I need something that will keep things cool for at least 5 days.

I’ve seen that the Icey-Tek work better with their own gel packs, and I’m prepared to pay the money to get a good product which will last, but if the others are just as good...

If you’re looking for ways to keep your food and drinks chilled for long periods, we’ve rounded up the best cooling boxes as recommended by Mumsnet users, including advice comparing the top brands so you can find the right one for your family's needs. We hope you find it useful.

Part of me thinks it can’t be worth the cost, then another part thinks if I’m spending £120 then another £40 isn’t that much if it’s really good.... can’t decide!

This is exactly what gets me into so much trouble with regards to camping kit. Blush

Hmm, pretty much decided on Icey-tek but the ice packs are out of stock. Has anyone used different packs?
