Might own a caravan by morning - what so I need to know?

But help!!!!!! Please!

What do I need to know? We're seasoned campers, and I grew up caravanning but this is my first as an adult!
Its small and lightweight which scares me a lot less!

Caravan insurance? Do I need to tell the car insurance/breakdown?
It'll be kept on our drive.
Hoping to get to Scotland this summer.

We bought our caravan recently and are going on holiday next week. It is getting easier to do everything each time (we have done a couple of weekends away).

Vital: is your car able to tow the van- check your weight limits.

Recommendations: check what come with the van (waste holder and pipes, gas and pigtail, water pump and water roller, chemicals for the loo?). Make sure any extra cushions needed to make up the beds are in the van. Ask the seller to run through how to use the hot water etc and find videos on you tube to help.

Take tea/ coffee and milk in an easy access bag. Once set up, making a tea checks all your systems: water, gas to boil kettle and electric for the fridge. Take wine to congratulate yourself that evening.

Check your house deeds. Ours has a covenant about no caravans. Not that theres anywhere we could put one!!
