Trip planned for 4 nights over Easter. We have been to the campsite before in a campervan , but now have a 3 birth tourer.
Never been with baby before, she will be 10 months.
What do we need to take/know?!

Cheap buggy and a baby gate for the caravan door. Baby can watch the world go by safely!!

Ooo... Baby gate, that's a good idea. I was going to take the travel cot to put her in. It won't fit in the caravan for sleep though.

We have a cheap buggy for Nanny's.

Take wind-breaks and a pop up play tent for making a little play pen outside. Check the ground first for anything that shouldn’t be there that she might put in her mouth or hurt her if she picks it up, like bottle tops, tent pegs etc...

Brilliant idea. Hope we get dry weather 😊

Just check that they can't get near the heating

The first time we took 3 xdc away the baby wasn't mobile - was brilliant. Until all 3 got d+v. Dh went to buy a dvd player and some films as the site insist you sit tight.... . Before I could stop her dd(2) opened the door - a gust of wind took the door right open with dd still holding on!! Her face!! No injuries but it still makes me laugh!!
*heartless nasty dm!!
Caravan hols with dc are great!!
Enjoy!!

I had a caravan when ds was born & he went regularly from 6 weeks old, he slept in a carrycot when he was tiny & when he got bigger we adapted a bottom bunk by putting a bed guard down the side & made a bottom rail with a laundry rack to make his bed cot sized. I had his travel cot in the awning for him to play in or for naps in the summer, used his bouncy chair for feeds when he went on to solids. I used ready mixed cartons of formula & a microwave steriliser for feeds, I kept supplies of formula, nappies & wipes at the caravan, bathed ds in the sink & used a MacLaren buggy with a cosy toes instead of a travel system. We spent 3 months in the caravan whilst I was on maternity leave, it was great, ds slept like a log with all the fresh air.

That sounds amazing!

I can't wait to go!
