Hi,

Can anyone recommend a family caravan holiday park in the Vendee region of France?
We will be travelling in Aug with 5 families, one of which has a dog and each require their own caravans.
Children's ages range from 2 - 10 years.
We will travel by car and ferry perhaps the overnight ferry to break up the drive with the little ones.
We enjoy swimming, restaurants, beach and cycling.
Thank you Smile

vendee

Not caravan park but a small gite complex with a swimming pool. We stayed here last year and it was lovely. It’s not a big fancy holiday park, but does have a pool, play area etc and is well located for the area around. It’s reasonably priced as well.

La Garangoire but think you might be a bit late to book. Phone now and you might get lucky but probs won't have pitches near to you. It is an amazing site. 15 mins in car to Dunes 2 beach. Fab. Pin Parasol is also nice. La Foret is ok if you don't mind being under pine trees. Patisserie in St Julian is amazing. There is another five star site near there - beings with a G. Always looks nice from pics.

Pitches next to each other. Sorry, fat fingers!

A little further south but logis du breuil is lovely. Nice big pitches in full sun or shade, nice pool.
