Hiring a RV for overnight stay somewhere in Kent - suggestions please!

No idea if questions about RVs would be answered by campers, but it is worth a try!

DS is obsessed with the Peppa Goes Camping book, and wants to sleep in what I think is a posh RV. We are hoping to hire one for an overnight stay later on this month to try and shut him up. We have never done this before and have no idea how to prepare as we haven't camped before!

Obviously, there are beds built in, but do they stay warm, or should be be looking to layer up in a big way, as you would if you were camping in September? I assume we should look to park it in a campsite, so that we can use their water and electricity. We would like to do something nearby on the Saturday, maybe Leeds Castle or Kent Life something along those lines - could anyone recommend a suitable site please?

You’ll be plenty warm enough. There will be a heater onboard powered either by gas or electricity. Make sure they show you all the controls.

As far as campsites go I don’t have any ideas as Kent is outside our touring area but if you’re hiring a standard motorhome rather than a giant RV you’ll be ok on any sites that take caravans and motorhomes. If it’s a giant RV the size of a bus with slide out sections you’ll probably need one with super long pitches.

I’d definitely recommend The Hop Farm

Thank you both, very helpful indeed.

You could try canopy and stars

It’s a clamping website but they also have campers
