Please Camping People, can you help me find a cheap tent for 2 nights under canvas?

Hello all you lovely camping people. Please can you help me? I'm a total novice when it comes to camping but I need to stay in one for 2 nights.
I don't want to spend much as I may never use it again but I do want to be dry if it rains and be able to put it up easily.

Does anyone have any experience of these cheapie tents?

argos do some cheapies but the best thing would be to borrow a tent from a friend and find out if you like it first.

We're in the same position and have just bought a cheapie from Argos - it was originally £70, then we bought it last week for £50 and now I see it's £30!!! Has two rooms for two people each and a small middle area, but only one of the bedrooms needs to be used if there's only two of you for more living space. Can't stand up in it but great for a first time, bigger in real life than what I expected. We're trying in this weekend for first time with borrowed cooking equipment, etc. Good luck

As dustystar suggested, I have borrowed one from a friend but let me know how you get on at the weekend with yours as I might buy the one you have.

I meant buy the same as yours. You might be a bit miffed if I try to snaffle it from your house.

Was going to suggest the same one as Flutterbye as its the one we use for 1 or 2 night stays. Its easy to put up - thats a really good price.
