Eurocamp - general, Séquoia Parc?

Has anyone stayed here?

We’ve already booked 10 days at Sequoia Parc and are going next week so it’s a bit late to be worrying about it now, but...

We’ve never done Eurocamp before and I’m now panicking that it will be really grotty and we’ll all have a miserable time. Can anyone reassure me?

And specifically - I’ve read that children under the age of 15 need to be supervised by an adult in the pool with them. Our children are 10 and 12 and we were hoping not to have to constantly get into the pool with them - they’ll want to swim about five times a day! Under 15 seems a very high age limit - can anyone confirm?

Thanks in advance.

Haven't been to that park but have been to many others that Eurocamp are at ( we book direct so usually in a different type of accommodation but at the same place). The pools in my experience mean adults on poolside, not physically in the water with the children, and we do sometimes send ours down by themselves and then join them later. Many of the rules are there for the people who are taking the p*ss, so the life guard can point to a rule and say get out you are breaching it; people who behave reasonably usually have no concerns. Presume you have read all the advice and have sharp knife, tea towel, pegs and all the other essentials? I don't take the kitchen sink but a few things can make a big difference. If it's sunny it's a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Hope you have fun.

Thank you so much for replying, I feel a bit less stressed about it now!
