Hi, we're going camping in a couple of weekends: me, DH, DS (4) and DD (21 months). We need to get a sleeping bag for DS - should we get a 2 season one or higher? Low temperatures are 12 at night at the moment. For DD I was thinking of layering vest and pyjamas and then using a 2.5 tog Grobag, maybe with a blanket on top.
I'm not sure what to do about sleeping mats either. We currently have 3 of those self-inflating mats, but the kids, particularly DD, will roll off in the night I'm sure. I guess the other options are airbeds? But I don't want to spend money on that as it's only for 2 nights. DD usually cosleeps with me, so needs to be on the same level as me really. Would it work to put her inbetween me and DH so that she doesn't roll off the mat? If anyone has any other ideas please let me know.
