URGENT: Where to buy campingaz 904?

I bought a camping stove and we are due to go away tomorrow but I just realised the gas cartridges I bought in B&M are not sufficient and I need a 904/907 cylinder thingy. I can only find Halfords that sell an empty cylinder locally, is it possible to buy a full cylinder anywhere? Online people are suggesting a 7kg Calorgas as a substitute but I really don't want anything too big. I have Decathalon, Argos and a camping shop locally but on checking their websites none of them seem to stock it.

Any ideas?

Campinhaz have a website with store locator. Have a nosey around where you're heading.

If I look around me right now I can get it from, Go Outdoors, Argos, local boat repair company, Halfords etc etc.

Full gas cylinders more often come from proper diy shops.

Google gas bottle supplies for your area.

Also the area you are travelling to. Garages often have them in areas with lots of campsites, for example. Again google Campingaz, Calor, bottled gas etc for the area you are travelling to.

N.B you will also need the correct regulator and hose.

TheRedBarrows · 16/07/2019 08:31

Did you get one?

cardamoncoffee · 16/07/2019 12:30

Sorry for not replying. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get one, the nearest supplier was 30 miles in the opposite direction and only stocked a 7 litre Calor cylinder which really isn't practical for us to carry around and keep. I just bought a basic one ring stove with cartridge from Halfords which did the job, it was only for boiling the kettle so I think my Campingaz Chef was a bit OTT Hmm I'm going to sell it I think.

Sounds reasonable.

I wish stoves came with clearer information about exactly what gas / regulator etc. I bought a one-ring stove that uses a different kind of small canister and found it really hard to work out which ones were compatible.

I don't use my two ring stove much now, only the little one ring one.

TheRedBarrows exactly, my stove didn't come with a hose or regulator either so I would have had to buy those too.
