DD is 5 months old and we're away camping with her a fair bit this summer. She is bottle fed and we are not weaning just yet.

I'm all over the sterilising but would love to hear everyone's top tips on how to make bottle feeding super easy while we're away. She's fussy with her bottles being warm and won't take premixed formula when it's cold.

She's waking up at best a couple of times a night for a feed. Perfect Prep is our salvation at home but what do we do to make night feeds easy while camping?

Any tips on keeping her entertained in the early hours would be amazing too as well as general camping tips...

Here's to a lovely outdoor summer x

Boiled hot water in a flask?

If the weather stays as it is, ie quite hot, premixed formula cartons should stay reasonably tepid. Just make sure they stay off the ground over night.

Can you quickly boil a kettle on your camping stove? I would have bottle all ready to go in cool bag then warm it in jug of boiling water.
Personally i wouldn't do it but good luck!

Tommie tippee travel warmer just fill the flask bit up before bed then use pre made milk and warm when needed

I kept the premises cartons in my sleeping bag overnight :-)

So I have just done a test run today for our camping trip next week because I'm stressing about this too - (my son much older than your little one but he is still very attached to his bedtime bottle and wakes super early, for various reasons it's going to be hard for us to access hot water in the early morning).
My massive flask stayed HOT for 8 hours today, I filled it from the kettle at 1145 and it was hot enough to be still steaming at 1930. So I reckon if you have ready made formula, fill the bottle and warm in a jug of hot water from a flask, you will be sorted. Or make up from powder with boiled water from a flask.

Thanks for the suggestions all. Love the idea of keeping premixed in my sleeping bag! Will give that a go x
