Day bag at a festival

I'm going to a festival with my children. We're hoping to be able to leave the tent in the morning and stay out all day. Apart from food, what should I make sure I take with me? So far I have:

• tissues & wipes
• money
• water bottle(s)
• sun cream

Anything else?

Antibacterial hand gel
Ear plugs
Snacks!
Glow sticks

Snacks. Definitely snacks. Basic first aid, like plasters.

Ponchos
Hats
Something to sit on

Is the camping really far from the action? Only I think the joy of proper festivals is being able to go back to your tent during the day. Otherwise why not just go to a day festival?

Don’t bother, just get a portable charger instead. Much easier.

Plasters for sore feet as you’ll likely walk a lot.

I'd take a small power pack for your phone. Have one per day to charge your phone with

Plastic bags to put stuff in e.g. rubbish, half eaten things, soiled items? and also to sit on.
A fan if it's going to be hot.

You are totally over thinking this. The whole point of a festival is that you are staying on site so you just wander back to your tent in between acts. The weather changes, go back for jumper. Or go back to drop it off. Just take with you what you normally take out with you.
