Seeking Campsites in Scarborough area

We have a touring caravan and would like a campsite near Scarborough. We're not really into the larger type ones with kids clubs, wacky warehouses etc. - something a bit more quiet and natural (Yorkshirish) would be nice.

You could try 'Vale of Pickering'. Its about 10 miles outside of Scarborough. We liked it there and have added it to our go there again list!

Cayton Village Caravan Park. Stayed there for a few nights at the start of the month. Nice quiet site with very helpfull staff.

there's a good rally site on olivers mount over aug bh holiday or theres a site on the beach at bridlington also on bh weekend . i think the both open in the middle of aug
