What do your toddlers wear to sleep in?

We are camping in the Vendee next week and it's our first time taking DD who is 18 months.
What should I dress her in at night time to keep her warm? She has grobags but do I need to do blankets over the top? How many layers under pjs?
She will be in her travel cot.

TIA!

I’d probably have a vest under her PJs, a thermal zip up fleece over the PJs, grobag and then a wool blanket. Take a hat for her to wear in bed too.

Thank you- so I could put her in short sleeved vest, pyjamas, fleece onesie, 2.5 tog grobag, cellular blanket on top? Would that be okay? I'm not sure how cold it gets at night..
Will need to buy her a hat I think!

What will she be sleeping on?

If a roll mat or similar, I would suggest a blanket for underneath as welll.

I would make sure you have plenty of layers for her. Maybe not an all in one sleepsuit in case of middle of the night nappy changes/accidents.

Don’t forget socks!

She still fits in her travel cot so I'm taking that, plus my friend suggested putting some foam mats under it so there's something between the groundsheet and the space under the cot(?).

Should I do long sleeve vest under pjs? I'm trying to look online at the weather forecast and it suggests it will be 7/8 at night so I'm worrying she'll be chilly Confused

Dd slept in a ready bed that has a sleeping bag built in, she had pjs, a hoody and a thick quilt over the bed and she was toasty warm all night. I kept waking up to check her.
