Ullswater or Derwentwater recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendations for child and dog friendly campsites near either Derwentwater or Ullswater please?
We have a camper van and spent last summer pretty much touring Northumberland and this summer I'd like to see more of the lakes. Electric hook up preferable but not essential. Many thanks in advance.

Gillside Farm is lovely. They will supply you with fresh milk and eggs - just ask at the farmhouse. They also have a Breakfast Van open on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Castlerigg Farm is a really friendly campsite and we liked their extra touch of a dog walk area and a shower for dogs. There’s a lovely little onsite cafe.

Not been here but the reviews look good:

Currently at the Quiet site in Ullswater. It’s a lovely site with great facilities - bar, shop, clean toilets, free hot showers, drying room, pool table(!), campers kitchen.
It’s not as quiet at night as we’d have liked but I think that’s because of a small handful of loud families. There are a number of campers and caravans here, and there are great views of the lake from the site too.

I've stayed at waterside farm, near pooley bridge, nice location but quite big and seemed quite noisy at weekends.
I've just come back from castlerigg farm - I loved this site, the facilities block is brand new and spotlessly clean, and I liked the fact that there was a bus stop at the end of the lane so I could leave the car on the site and get a day ticket and take the bus to various places rather than the hassle of parking. You can walk to the stone circle and into Keswick from the campsite too.

Kestrel lodge is nice too, near bassenthwaite, a bit further out from keswick.

My favourite lake district campsite is low wray, near windermere, it's a lovely woodland site on the lake shore. There are several nice walks and bike rides you can do from the site without having to drive anywhere.

Castlerigg campsite is lovely, it's just had a load of work done to its facilities too.

Lovely walk from there down to Derwentwater and Keswick.

Gillside Farm In Glenridding is in a great location, lovely walks straight from the site / village. Pub a stroll away, ditto the lake shore.

People also like Sykeside camping a stroll from Brothers Water.

Closer to Keswick people like Kestrel Camping.

We stayed at the Quiet Site a few years back. Lovely site, but didn't find it quiet due to loud family in the pitch next door. Could hear every word of their very loud conversations.
Other campers very helpful when our car battery was flat on our final morning.
