Never camped in France before and just wondered if you can use mini barbecues?

Any other tips for French camping would be very useful!

I don't think you can use mini barbecues, but they often have a communal bbq area on the site.

We've never had a problem - just made sure that its off the grass. Its worth checking that there is no drought in the area if you can though (not sure how!) in case all bbqs are restricted. We have camped quite a bit in france and I can't really think of any tips - oh except make sure you have a 1 euro coin so you can release the trolley at the supermarket!!
