Campsite recommendations for a touring caravan in the Lakeside.

Ideally I am looking for a site close to the Lakes, with a bus stop near to site entrance so my Mum who doesn’t drive is able to have some independence. I would also like some things on site for my 9 years old. Ideally organised activities and a pool but at least a play area. Thanks in advance.

Solway Holiday Village has it all. www.hagansleisure.co.uk/holiday-parks/solway-lake-district It’s a large and impersonal site but has very good facilities.
Park Foot is slightly smaller but still has a lot for an energetic 9yo. www.parkfootullswater.co.uk/about/what-s-on

Silloth is not on the doorstep of the Lakes. It's an interesting town but may I describe it as quite peculiar and a bit deserted?

White cross bay Windermere is on a bus route, lots to do and easy to get to and from if needed
