5 people in a two bed/6 berth static - too cramped?

I was hoping for a cheap weekend away at Easter close to the in-laws. Booked a newspaper deal and invited my recently widowed mum along thinking we could upgrade. School hols prices ridiculous and an upgrade would be the same as if we had booked direct. I resent paying it as we are only in the area as it's close to the in-laws.

Should I suck it up and pay the £100s to upgrade or grin and bare it for 3 nights? It's early April will will probably need to upgrade to a van with central heating at least.

This is why I never book Sun holidays, usually regret it.

Depends on the beds tbh - is it 5 adults or some DCs?

I think you’ll be fine for a few nights if you have the sofa bed in the lounge, presume it’s two children in a twin and your mum in the double?

(I suggest you have the lounge as you’ll be up with the DCs).

I've gone direct with haven for early March and it's only cost me £50 to upgrade to a 3 bedroom
Deluxe caravan.

Sorry late March not early

It's 3 adults DC aged 11 and 8. Mum would have the double with me and DH in the living room.

Upgrade to the next 2 bed is £114 and more like £200 for a basic 3 bed on top of what I have already paid. I checked some Haven sites down the road and they are even more than that. That's school holidays for you I guess.

Next year we'll wait until Summer hols and take our tent like we did last year.
