We have recently purchased a caravan and want to get the most out of it. Any recommendations for sites near to good walking?

Where in the country? Plenty in the Lakes and Peak District.

Rhayader in mid wales has a lovely campsite right in the centre. Close enough to the town for lovely pubs and loads of great walks on the doorstep.

The caravan site is called Wyeside.

We stayed at the camping and caravan club site near devises, it's right on the canal and there is a nice walk along the towpath.

Manobeir in Tenby. You can get the train into Tenby town, walk barafundle bay (google it it’s sensational) manorbier beach, basically the whole of the Pembrokeshire coast is beautiful. They have great facilities on that site aswell

Caravan club site called Trewethett Farm in Cornwall. It is right on the coastal path and has spectacular views. It is wonderful.

One of our favourites is Carfae Bay, St David's, fabulous sea views from the site and right on the coast path. There is a really lovely (dog friendly) beach 200m from the site and you can walk easily into still David's too.

We liked how close Sea Barn Farm was to the coastal path www.seabarnfarm.co.uk
