Campsite between Cherbourg and Les Valades?

Having booked Les Valades, have just realised it's 7 hours from Cherbourg and we'll be pulling a trailer tent so can probably add another two hours! Don't think we'll make it on time so can anyone recommend a campsite roughly halfway between?

We stayed here this year and loved it. It would be about 3.5 hours from Cherbourg and leave you with 4.5 hours the next day which might not be your preferred way to break the journey. If you haven't yet confirmed your dates, it could be worth having a couple of nights stopover as there's a few things to do in the area. It's part of the camping qualite scheme, as LV is.

Another place to consider is Amboise, there is a municipal site there and it's very pretty for a stop over.

The Amboise site is amazing, we will definitely be using that one again.
