Activities to do in Vendee in bad weather

I posted this in general, but actually it might go better here. We're off to eurocamp in the Vendee in a few days and the weather forecast is terrible, so our days on the beach/in the pool might be limited. We've been twice before and on our occasional wet days we've been to the zoo at Les Sables d'Olonne and to the Aquarium at La Rochelle. But what else is there to do in the region? We'll have a 4yo dd with us and will be staying in La Tranche. I'd be grateful for any suggestions

Somewhere near St Jean de Monts, there's a really good working windmill where they do a guided talk/tour. It would pass an afternoon I guess.

there is a really good castle/staely homeplace near La tranch )- i have no ideae what it's called though!! but they do activities and a treasure hunt type thing.
I seem to remember that it;s signposted and in all the tourist leaflets so I'm sure you'll find it,

Not sure if it's the done thing to point people at another forum (apologies if I've broken any rules here!)but I've found the forums on TripAdvisor really useful for questions like this. Not used it for France, but asked similar ? re the Algarve at Easter and got some great responses.
