Looking to book earlybird tix for wilderness festival 2019. Two kids 7 and 9 and DH.
Do I book the family friendly field?
What is the toilet facilities like, clean and plenty?
I can’t seem to find an option to select your own pitch like at camp Bestival. Is it just randomly allocated or do you pitch where you want on a first come first served basis?
If the pitches are marked, are they a good size or small?
Did you enjoy it?
Thanks!

Hi - we went this year and camped in the family field. It is first come first served- we arrived Friday lunchtime which meant we had to search for a space to squeeze into with our 2 sets of friends (one of whom had an 8 person tent!) pitches are not marked and we were 'snug' but had a nice little social area too hang out in.

Toilets are the cleanest I've seen at a festival and they have a very decent showers in the family field. A trolley to cart stuff is essential I would say.

It is all expensive (obviously) but a lovely atmosphere and the lake was great this year as it was so hot.

Thank you so much! I'm going to book, really excited. I might even let the met office know there will be hail, sleet snow and gale force winds on the first weekend of Aug 2019 as I am venturing out in a tent! x
