How's the weather been for you this weekend?

We are camping at Muddy Creek Farm in Hampshire and it's been dreadful today! The site is great though and we would definitely return. Lots of people packed up this morning and we saw tents with broken poles and gazebos upturned. Fortunately for us we have friends with a yacht in lymington (not so stealth boast 😂) so we spent the day there!

Great on Saturday in North Devon but over night into Sunday was atrocious with strong winds and rain. Packed up in it too.

We’re currently in Boscastle. Supposed to leave on Tuesday but if the tent is dry tomorrow, we’re coming home. It’s awful here. Winds of 23mph and gusts of 33mph. Tent has been leaking too 😩

London, pouring down. Supposed to be going to Whitstable tomorrow but think I’ll give it a miss.

Up in County Durham sunny and cold Saturday, rained all day yesterday and was crazy windy last night. Mixture of all three today so far. Despite the weather it's a beautiful part of the world we've never been to before.

We've switched from tents to a touring caravan this year and really, really grateful. Had a lovely cozy film afternoon when we got back yesterday.

We were at carfest south and nearly lost our tent on Sunday afternoon - loads of people packed up and a fair number of abandoned broken tents - but we lasted it out and it cleared up in the evening.

We went to Overstrand clifftop near Cromer and had winds of 23 mph and gusts of 32 mph.

We're just back from Bala. Rained on and off Friday & Saturday and all day yesterday. Packed up in the drizzle this morning. We also had a freak storm with mad wind gusts and thunder & lightening for about 15 mins Friday afternoon which saw the beams on one corner bend in. We'd taken friends for their first trip so it wasn't the best introduction for them but they've said they're up for another trip next year so it can't have been all bad!

We’re on the Isle of Wight. Campsite is fab but we might as well have slept out in the open as the tent (Gelert Trinity) leaked so badly on Sunday. DH spent days waterproofing the thing too, after a couple of disastrous leaky holidays.

Am currently lying in a damp bed and listening to the drips. At 5am DH declared that the tent is not coming home with us today, it’s going straight in the bin. 😢

First family (and husband!) camping trip for us in the midlands. Totally frozen Friday night, sweltering hot Saturday night. Amazing the difference a bit of cloud cover makes! Anyway, it looks like we're converted, so I'll be haunting this section for tips. I think hubby is buying a new bigger tent with the plan to fit another weekend away before it's too cold. 🤞

Went to Scotland last weekend and pitched the tent in hailstones ffs!!

I got sunburnt on Saturday, just by walking around a farm with the grandkids. Yesterday was even hotter. It's very warm today too (Nottingham)
