Advice for camping in the Alps

This year's camping is over for us so planning next year!
Where is good? We're cheating slightly (taking the caravan) so this impacts the roads we can drive on slightly.
I'm aware that the alps is a huge region so looking for recommendations as to where we should base ourselves. We'll almost certainly be travelling from calais.

It's a bugger of a drive from Calais, but I love the campsite at Lauterbrunnen, lots to do and see, many activities. It's also a hub for the euro-buses so lots of interesting people around. There's a small restaurant on site but the village is nearby and Interlaken not too far.

Actually, it's not too bad a drive DH says, compared to many other places. We tend to stop st acolms R on the way out and on the way back do a long day and stop near Calais.
Though we now live very near the Tunnel so next time we might stop further back into France.

Aww I went to lauterbrunnen when I was little and loved it!

We stayed at the foot of among Blanc at an amazing site this year (only a few miles from Annecey where we stayed at another site).
It was here.
Pitches were huge, all had a view of the Domes de Miage, walkable to the Mont Blanc railway and cable cars.
We went in the ACSI discount period so only €19/night, the reviews are all excellent and we would go back.
Pics show view from our pitch, and how huge the pitches were.

Gosh that looks lovely.
DH can no longer 'wander' due to work pressures, and I've lost my confidence driving abroad. It sounds so utterly utterly stupid, me being bossy control freak in every other aspect of life. I don't know how it happened, but if you find my driving abroad chromosome, please return it to me.

My first reaction was the one in Lauterbrunnen. It's called Camping Jungfrau.

I love camping lauterbrunnen but would like somewhere with a pool complex of some sort.

Would Annecy be considered Alps? We love camping international du lac bleu at the southern end of lake Annecy.

Now that looks great!
