Anyone??? Seruisly I want a cheap and cheerful tent for one nighters, not worried about it being slightly 'fairweather' as it will be the grab and go one if the weather is nice, or one that we use on the way IYKWIM

Must have 2 rooms, pref sepatrate ends of tent and must be cheap

Sad isn't it?

we should write a book on camping for famillies really- the MN guide.

Step 1: get a blue vis a vis or tunnel tent and a gert canopy

So revision moment (without looking at my copied and pasted notes).

To be a w/e camper I need:
Tent
Airbed and thigmy to go into fag lighter
Duvet
Campbeds from millets and sleeping bags for DH
2 burner stove (?+/-grill)
rusty gas bottle
blankets for the floor of the tent
hats, waterproofs and tracksuits
sickbucket with lid
complicated and well practiced packing/unpacking inventory
icebox and ice block things
1 bag of clothes for us all(have no idea how I'm going to succeed with that one)
Instant coffee sachets

I'm sure there's more......

Slubberdegullion · 04/06/2007 21:42

sleeping bags for DC!

Peachy · 04/06/2007 21:44

We pack our clothes into those blue bags they sell in IOkea and stuff them in the boys footwells.

Chairs? Table? (optional- we have a fab hi gear aluminium roll up one))

as many lanterns as you can afford

The kids will need sleeping abgs, would suggest millets also, nice ones pretty cheap in there atm. Argos have a fab adult double one, the Lichfield which uis all soft and flannel lined

corkscrew

plates / plastic glasses

Slubberdegullion · 04/06/2007 21:50

Flannel lined comfort double sleeping bags. My word. Must remember to pack the contraceptives.

We always travel with a corkscrew regardless of where we are going.(that includes to Sainsbury's and pre-school drop off).

Peachy · 05/06/2007 12:30

you sound like my sorta person with the corkscrew LOL!
