Aldi dual burner + grill....gas help!

I bought the aldi dual burner when all the camping stuff came out a few weeks ago and being a complete camping novice I'm struggling to understand the gas situation

am I able use those little gas canister packs or do I need a proper gas bottle?

if I can use the little packs do I just attatch them to the end of the hose?

Does it say propane or butane mix ratio on the side of the stove/box at all?
Could you post a picture of the nozzle (with a ruler for scale) so we can see which fitting it has?

Is it the double burner with grill? A metal stove and you open the lid and it unfolds on hinges to reveal two burners?

You will need a gas bottle and a regulator. Not the little cans or canisters, a proper heavy duty gas bottle.

The usual camping gas bottles are Calor Gas or Campingaz. I use Campingaz because it has a handy sized bottle that doesn’t take up half the boot. Calor and Campingaz are butane, but you can also use propane (patio heater gas) but Calor / r Campjngaz butane is more widely stocked for camping use.

It is important to use the right regulator for the gas bottle. So I would advise you to go to a supplier of camping gas bottles and get them to sell you the bottle and regulator together. The Regulator screws into the top of the bottle and then you attach the hose to the regulator and stove. I leave my hose tightly attached to the regulator with a jubilee clip when I screw the lid back on the gas bottle at the end of a trip.

Is is expensive buying your first gas bottle but after that you just exchange an empty bottle for full and only pay for the gas. It seems a lot of money but it really lasts.

Google Campingaz 907 or 904 to see what the bottle looks like.

Can you link to the BBQ?

The problem is on the end of the burners there is the mesh bit but not sure if you have to turn them. I have had this bbq nearly 2 weeks and can’t use the gas side. Please help someone

Aldi customer services and ask them to supply instructions? Were there no instructions on or in the box?

Or can you post a picture of the connection and a link to the BBQ that you have?

I don’t think anyone will feel confident giving advice about gas appliances unless they can see it is the same one as theirs.

It need s photo etc as we want to give accurate advice. To be honest if you haven't a clue its some time better to buy one from a shop who can show you how to use it or used with a demo

That’s not like anything I have seen as part of a camping stove, so personally, no idea.

It must be very frustrating not being able to use it. Did it not come with instructions? Honestly, I would contact Aldi Customer Services. They should not be selling anything run on gas without clear and detailed instructions.

I have the instructions but they do not go into detail about which way the end bit should be situated

I have spoken to customer services n not much help. Can someone offer to help me All I need to do is speak to someone on here who has bought one and just go through it with them I would really appreciate it
