Camping France - Noirmoutier

Hi there, we have found an absolutely lovely looking site on the Ile de Noirmoutier on the west coast of France www.camping-indigo.com Now we would love some tips on thimgs to do and places to eat on the island, anyone been?

Only went briefly for a day visit whilst in Brittany when I was about 14 and Noirmoutier was just lovely. As you cross the causeway, you see everyone picking mussles from the sand. There was loads to visit and do in the area (can't remember much about Noirmoutier itself) but Quimper and Concarneau are beautiful too. I do remember the sea food being just gorgeous - there were fish markets everywhere!

Hmm - just realised that Noirmoutier is classed as the Vendee but I'm sure we visited from Brittany?! Perhaps not - anyway, it's still lovely.
